Add the chicken stock and bring to a slow boil. After a few minutes add the pesto and lower heat to simmer. Allow to reduce and thicken for several minutes before adding the cream.
Once the sauce has thickened a bit add the chicken and the cooked pasta and stir through.
Toss through the torn basil leaves and serve hot with crusty bread and a green salad.
